According to Spain’s national statistics office (INE), total property sales increased for the fourth consecutive month, with resale property driving the increase in transactions.
Marbella recovers the property impulse and consolidates itself as locomotive of the sector. The landmark of the Costa del Sol closed last year with 3.115 transactions, what brings this nearer to the summary of 2007.
The details about property transactions in the last financial year, yesterday published by Ministerio de Fomento, reveal that Marbella is the city in Spain where the number of transactions has increased the most with 23.6%.
The growth of Marbella, despite of being the most significant, has not been an exception on Costa del Sol where other towns tried to raise numbers of transactions.
These results allow to place the province of Málaga as one of whose that resists the bad situation that still persists in the property sector.
