Our last post on real estate market has shown that cooporate investors are starting to buy into the Spanish real estate market. This situation keeps to be valid, as last week it was reported that the Caixa bank has sold its whole real estate portfolio to a group of investment funds. Does this mean that we have reached the point where we need to buy again in Spain.
Statistical data is mixed, on the one hand we have seen still price going slightly down in January and February 2014, while the overall trend to buy real estate properties in Spain show clear upwards signs. We have seen growth rates of +30% compared to last year in January and February.
In our opinion it is time to consider investing into the Spanish real estate market on a broader level, not just sherry picking.
